• About Manuel Marquez MD

    Manuel Marquez, MD has more than 25 years as a family physician working with multi-generational families in both English and Spanish. Most recently he served as a clinical research coordinator for Ventura County Hematology Oncology Specialists and as a substitute paraeducator for special needs children at the Ventura United School District. Previously, Manuel Marquez MD spent three years as an assistant area medical director with Southern California Permanente Medical Group, where he served as a liaison to medical providers and supervised physicians-in-charge of medical office buildings. He also spent many years as a family practitioner for the Buenaventura Medical Group in Oxnard, California, where he managed a bilingual practice with more than 2500 patients.

    More recently Manuel Marquez, MD has turned his attention to travel and tour-guiding as a certified tour director through the International Tour Management Institute in San Francisco. He has guide experience in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills areas, Sonoma Wine country, the U.S. western national parks, including Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Bryce, Zion, and Canyonlands. Most recently, he has led Groups through Cuba. He has also completed extensive travel throughout the rest of the world.
